Although now I am at home, I was a preschool sp. ed. teacher for 7 years. I am well-organized, patient, and experienced in using play as an educational tool (if the child thinks we are "just playing", then I've done my job well). I'm an expert at adapting activities to fit the developmental ability of each child, as well as figuring out ways to push each child towards their individual goals. I have a M. Ed degree and a current teaching license. I LOVE helping children grow and have been lucky enough to do just that, only now with children of my own(18mo and 3yrs). I'm looking to take on a child or two to spend the day with us, as the two I watch now are moving in Feb. I am currently only interested in part-time but am flexible as to which days. If you feel like this might be a good fit, I'd be happy to get to know each other.

She is a treasure. Beth has been a caregiver to our children for 3 years. She has been an absolutely incredible part of our lives. She is reliable, trustworthy, and most importantly, loving. She is also very easy to communicate with, and is flexible with any schedule changes that arise. What becomes apparent when you first meet Beth is that she truly cares about the development of children, and she allows them to learn through their environment but supports and challenges them in their activities. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her. We realize how fortunate we were to know Beth. She has become a part of our family.
