About Eli

I first began babysitting when I was in highschool and even took on a job caring for infants in a local church nursery on Sundays. I continued this kind of work throughout my undergraduate degree at a different church and moving up to working predominantly with 4-7yr/olds where I just found a lot of joy doing ministry work. Currently I am looking for a way to give back to my community while completing the education and experience required for ordination. One thing you should know about me is that I am a transgender man early in my transition. I'm open about my identity and willing to talk about it or provide resources when necessary. I'm passionate about working with children because I want to become the person I needed to have in my life when I was younger both as a mentor presence and by living authentically and faithfully.
