First and foremost, I love kids. I always have. Maybe I'm a kid at heart or maybe I like the happy energy they have. Who knows. But for whatever reason they get me and I get them. I have worked with kids on and off my whole life. I've taught gymnastics to toddlers, taught dance class for young gymnasts, taught a kids hip-hop class, was a teacher assistant for for 2-3-year-olds and an after school provider for 5th-6th graders. I also worked as a social work intern at an elementary school in Houston. I'm a very hands on sitter. You won't find me sitting in front of a TV with your kid or passively watching them play. I like to do crafts, play dress up, play pretend and have stellar dance parties. I am also the godmother to an adorable 5-year-old girl who totally has my heart. I currently work full time during the week and am looking for part-time sitting opportunities. I think I'd be a great fit for any family looking for a fun, energetic and experienced baby sitter.

My husband and I hadn't been on a real date night since before my 16-month-old was born and it was desperately needed. Elissa did a great job with our two boys - we will definitely have her back! She even gave our 3yo some extra comfort and help falling asleep when he tried to stay awake until we got home. Communication with Elissa was great and she's easy going. We felt really good about the whole thing!
