About Elissa

I have been caring for children since I was hardly more than a child myself. I was the go-to teen on the block for the neighborhood families. I have grown up to continue to be passionate about spending time with kids and helping them to discover and navigate the world around them. I have a master's degree in environmental education and have made teaching and learning with children my career for the past decade as a preschool teacher. I have experience with twins, toddlers, and teens and I am confident handling everything from teething to tantrums. I also have many years of experience with kids with special needs, both as a volunteer and employee with a therapeutic horseback riding program. I would love to share my love of learning, cooking, crafting, reading, nature, music, and art with you and your family.
