Patient care Technician When I worked at the hospital these were the tasks that I assisted with. As a patient care technician I gather patient data to ensure accurate medical records, analyze, and monitor their symptoms. Reporting any unusual findings to the doctor and nurses. I would reposition or transport patients as needed. I provide general support and compassion throughout feeding, bathing, and everyday ADLS. I coordinate basic life support as well as know how to use a crash cart. I utilized hospital information to perform Echocardiograms, Ultrasounds, and specimen collections. I would assist with collecting vital sign data, pulse, and respiration rates. I would execute medical transcribers, document, and transmits records/data to nurses and doctors. I built strong relationships with my patients by actively listening to their concerns and noting what works best for their individualized care.
