Hi There! My name is Elise and I have lived in Cambridge for 3 years, but am originally from Miami and spent 10 years in Los Angeles. I am a musician, artist, and all-around thoughtful human. I have been babysitting on and off for nearly a decade! I have worked with families in both Los Angeles and Cambridge, generally between the ages of 5 and 14. I love working with kids (and also with parents) around making sure we are all on the same page. I have been studying to become an Expressive Arts Therapist at Lesley University, after having a wonderful experience creating a teen gardening program that incorporated poetry, gardening, dance and painting. I play all kinds of sports (Tennis, basketball, swimming, volleyball), so I am always up for a game and encouraging play. I went to Vassar for undergrad where I studied art history and also enjoyed many film courses so anything in the creative realm is also up my alley. Most importantly, I bring a lot of empathy and understanding:)
