My first Nannying position began in 2013. My day consisted of arriving before the Mom left for work to wake up the kiddo and get him fed and ready for a fun-filled day! He had swim class at 9, camp at 11, and then I would then take him to lunch, followed by baseball camp. We would then go back to his home for a snack, and most days some tutoring in Reading and Writing provided by me. Finally, we would have playtime and dinner. I knew then that I loved Nannying, and this became the basis for my decision to get my Masters in Education! Since my first job, I have had a long-term Nannying position with a family of 3 children, two 6-year-olds and a 10-year-old. I provided transportation to and from school as well as to after school activities, homework help, tutoring if needed, and of course playtime. Now they are 8 and 12-year-olds! I also would make sure that the homes were tidied up, dishes done, trash taken out, etc. I am currently looking for a Nanny/Tutor job while in school.
