About Elisabeth

At 46 I have had the real joy and privilege to work with children of all ages, from newborns to teens and in every developmental stage. This has also given me experience tutoring grades K - 7th. My childcare style is usually a good balance between structured and easy going. Enough focused involvement to keep things exciting and stimulating but relaxed enough to let a child learn and experience life at his or her own pace. Every activity is a chance to learn, from bubbles and playdough to learning games, cooking and outside play. One of my great loves is children's literature and I truly enjoy sharing this with the kids I care for! I'm also a good cook, and open to any household duties the right position might need. I really appreciate clear expectations and communication between parents and myself, making a pleasant relationship for both of us! I look forward to hearing from you!
