About Elijah

I enjoy working with animals because of the unique relationships I can build with each pet in my care. I love finding the individual quirks and personalities of animals. I'm looking for housesitting and drop-in jobs, within 30 minutes of the Burlington-Graham-Mebane area. I started working with animals when I was just a boy. Pets have always been a large part of my life. I've had dogs, cats, reptiles, poultry, and fish throughout my life and currently own and care for a dog, chickens, a bearded dragon, and aquariums. I have pet sat since I was 12. I am continuing this passion for animals and nature by pursuing a degree in Natural Resource Management and Conservation at Western Carolina University. In my spare time, I like to garden, fish, hike, hunt, keep fish and freshwater invertebrates, read, and cook. One thing you should know about me is that I am willing to learn and work with you regardless of the specific needs of your home and pets.
