Hello! I'm a recent (1-yr) graudate of college, with a BA in Psychology. I first began my experience working with children, specifically those with special needs, mid college. I worked as a Behavior Technician (BT) in a clinical setting. I learned researched ways to handle challenging behavior from various kids, ranging from 4-7years old. I then proceeded to work for a company, post-college, also as a BT. There, I grew and practiced my knowledge of behavior intervention in the school setting. Currently I work as a para educator for the school districts, employed by an agency. I work with kids with both academic needs and behavioral support. I have learned the importance of balancing consistency and flexibility when working with kids. I also have collaborated with parents over their child's care in education. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and watching television shows that help me understand more about human behavior and social interactions.
