About Elena

My name is Elena, I am currently a freshman in college working towards my bachelor's degree in psychology interested in becoming a children's life specialist. I am currently enrolled at KU. I started assisting in babysitting in middle school and started babysitting on my own freshman year of high school. I have always enjoyed working with children. My experience as a babysitter has helped me develop patience and communication skills. My favorite thing about children is how curious they are and how they always want to know the "why" to everything! My experience with children has not only been babysitting but also student teaching in a kindergarten class my senior year of high school which taught me how important a healthy environment is for children. I'm looking for jobs in Lawrence during the week/weekends and jobs in Topeka during the weekend/summer. A few things I love: traveling, hikes, sunsets, reading, and my dog Luna!
