About Elena

I am a formally trained clinical social worker and childcare provider. I work part time in environmental education and also on creative projects (pottery, writing). I love to spend time outside, read books, and spark creativity with kiddos. Prior to graduate school, I provided care for an infant and a toddler for a year. I have been working in the field for over a decade now, and bring collaborative curiosity to the work I do. I am covid vaccinated + boosted, have gotten my flu shot, and am happy to provide references at your request. My ideal family would include progressive-minded parents who are excellent communicators and understanding employers. I am open to incorporating therapeutic work/play therapy into this work as well. I can also provide behavioral resources and suggestions if requested.
