I am a lifelong nanny, married with a college educated daughter. I have spent my entire career providing loving care for children. 27 of those years I spent with just three families. Now I'm going to the weddings of my first kids! My current family is growing up and I am looking for a new family to help. I love being part of a community, taking the kids to activities, play dates, and staying active. With my current family, I manage all of the children's after school activities including drop offs and pick ups. My families will tell you that I like to keep things neat and am happy to do light housework and meal prep, depending on what you need. I have a special place in my heart for twins, and have cared for 4 sets of twins over the past 30 years. If you need a full time caregiver, I would love to share my experience.

I would absolutely recommend Elena. She is very reliable and motivated and approaches everything with care and patience. She cared for and helped raise our two daughters, M. (2 years old) and H. (3 months old) from late 2021 into 2022. Elena came to work on time, stayed late when needed, and worked diligently. She was particularly helpful in multitasking with two children, preparing meals and bottles, and performing light housekeeping. Elena who is bi-lingual, encouraged our oldest daughter to use Spanish words and phrases. She also helped with potty-training, teaching manners, and sharing. Through her experience and familiarity with the Chicago area and was able to take our daughters to the best parks, gyms, music classes, museums and other free (or inexpensive) activities around town.
