About Elena

I'd describe my personality as a very loving, nourishing, and hard working mother. I like working with kids because they are silly, passionate, and unique. Each child is different and I am always so proud of their accomplishments. I'm looking for a job that will keep me busy, active, and is rewarding. I'm sure caring for children will be just that. I started working with kids when I was 7 years old with my mother. Then continued on my own at age 16 by babysitting siblings, 7-5yo. Then I had my own child and would care for my nieces and nephews 24/7. In my spare time, I like to garden, crochet, and play at the park. I help my 1st grader complete homework and listen to audio books. One thing you should know about me is I was a single mother for 5 years. I am now a full time college student and a full time mother. My skills include feeding, reading, and games. 3 meals a day plus healthy snacks. Then we play at the park. Afterwards, it's time for a nap, snack or book to wind down.
