In my years of experience with children with special needs I have worked cases ranging from mild to extreme. I volunteered as a S. E. C. A (special education classroom assistant) for a year or so at local elementary and middle schools. For a family I helped to care for they had 4-year-old triplets and a 9-year-old with Down Syndrome and I cared for all 4. I have also worked closely with learning disorders, accompanied by my experience in tutoring. Most recently after learning ASL I have been working closely with parents with Deaf children, as well as with students who have disabilities rendering them incapable of speech and teaching them basic signs and conversation. I have delivered medication to children, and in more severe cases bodily functions and inserting devices has never been an issue for me and anything that I have never come in contact with will be no issue to learn.
