I've nannying for over 15 years and have had the pleasure of working long term for several amazing families, with children ranging from new born to teenagers, as well as a family with special needs. When it comes to child care I have experience with it all and feel incredibly comfortable and competent caring for a child and meeting their needs and understanding milestones. I'm super friendly, engaged, responsible and hands on. I genuinely enjoy being a nanny and spending time with kids, and I find it rewarding to be a part of their life, helping them to learn and grow and discover new things everyday! We have had Elena as a nanny for our 2 children (Ages 1 and 3) for a year and a half. When Elena first started, my son was just an infant, and we'd previously had my mother in law helping with all childcare, so I was super anxious about trying someone knew from outside of our own family. Elena immediately bonded with my children, and I felt so comfortable going back to work after having a newborn. Elena is creative, engaging, and energetic with my kids, and they respect and love her so much. Elena is easy to communicate with, takes direction well, and really has been such a blessing for our family. We also had her bring her dog Lyla with to our house when she watched the kids so that our dog had another dog to play with. Lyla is the sweetest, doesn't shed, and our kids love her! We are moving out of state and won't be seeing Elena every week, but we hope to invite her along for trips in the future to help with the kids, and so that we have an excuse to hang out with her again. :)
