About Eleanor

I love spending time with kids and am exploring making childcare and outdoor education my career choice. My childcare experience comes from being an instructor, where I led groups of 13 kids in outdoor sports. I believe in directing kids with a calm and firm manner, while also giving them the opportunity to learn to make their own safe choices, to have as much fun as possible, while being safe and following rules. I believe in open and consistent communication with parents, in whichever manner you prefer. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children of varying age groups, including 4-5, 6-11, and 12+. In addition to English, I have an intermediate fluency in Spanish. When it comes to activities, I love engaging children in outdoor sports, physical games, board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am also trained in First Aid and CPR.
