I am a graduate sculpture major, artist and nanny, and am enthusiastic about working with children. They keep it real, and I am always inspired and learn just as much from them as I hope they do me. I have worked as an artist, educator, and caregiver since high school - I have a decade of experience and pride myself on being engaged and creative with children, as well as responsible and patient. Each child is different and I care-give accordingly. I moved to Los Angeles three years ago and am considering going back to school at some point to be a midwife. The following is just some of my experience working with children: I was a part-time nanny in LA for two years for two families, and before that, a full-time nanny for three years in Baltimore taking care of a darling girl starting when she was 4 months old. Elana has been working for my family for over a year, since my youngest was only 2 months old. I hired her to help with my 2 children, now ages 1.5 and 4 years old. She has worked for us in a nannying capacity and also helps out around the house wherever she can. I am so lucky to have found Elana! She is caring and very loving towards the children. She is so reliable and always on time. She is very clean and organized, our house is spotless when she leaves. She is also flexible in her schedule. She continues to work for us more as a babysitter now that the kids are in daycare/preschool and she has a great relationship with the kids.
