I'm Elaine, I have a positive personality and have varied experience through the years with dementia/alzheimer, paraplegic/Parkinson's and other health issues. I help with the activities of feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming and excercise. Facilitated activities for physical and mental stimulation. Maintained a safe, secure and healthy patient environment and completed household chores. Assisted taking medications as prescribed by doctor. Monitored clients for signs of deterioration or concern, reported changes immediately to family. Demonstrated compassion and encouragement during tough moments. I'm passionate about caring for seniors with a smile, helping them get through a difficult or lonely day, seeing relief on a senior's face while doing a difficult task is what drives me. I want to help them keep their dignity everyday.
