About Elaine

My name is Elaine, I am a wife and mother to 4 grown daughters (16-26yrs) and I've been caregiving for 13 years. I began working in a group home caring for children and adults with mental disabilities for 2 years. After that I began a job at an assisted living facility for the elderly (formerly Summerville, currently known as Brookdale in Ontario, CA) for 5 years until family emergency took place. After I left assisted living, I began driving for physically disabled elderly taking them to/from doctor appointments, family visits, errands, and anywhere the customer desired at San Gabriel Transit (Access Paratransit). After my first grandchild was born 2 years ago, I decided to leave work to help care for my granddaughter. Now that she is older and my daughter stays at home, I am looking to begin working in-home again.
