I graduated from California State University, Fullerton and have a BA in Liberal Studies. My goal was to become a Special Education Teacher and have taken many classes to obtain a teaching credential. Life happens, so that goal didn't happen. In the past, I have sat for a few families, neurotypical children ages 5-10, picking them up from school, taking them to athletic practices, help with homework and preparing healthy snacks and meals. I've worked with teens and adults with disabilities along with their families in their homes, teaching them self help skills, social skills, and communication skills. I currently work in the mornings at an Adult Transition Program serving adults with developmental disabilities ages 18-22. I am CPR/First Aid and CPI trained and can work with any child, teen and adult with behavioral and/or mobility issues. I am on the Trustline Registry. In addition, I was raised with a brother who has autism.
