About Elaine

I've been working with kids since I was old enough to babysit! At 15 I was babysitting for family, friends, and providing childcare for my local church twice a week! When I was 18 I began working as a teachers assistant at a preschool while working on my child development degree. When covid hit I left the classroom and began working with kids one on one! I firmly believe that all words and actions directed toward a child can greatly impact their self esteem and view of the world. I pride myself in my ability to always choose my words carefully in an effort to encourage and uplift them, while still stressing the importance of rules and practicing safety in all aspects of life. I am full of energy and will gladly play anything the little ones desire. I strongly believe that pretend play is not only a creative outlet, but also a way to help kids process their experiences.
