About Elaine

I have been professionally caring for children since 2017 and worked for a year as a full-time nanny from December 2019 to 2020 for a baby that was 5 months when I started. At this time I am looking for occasional and date night jobs. I am a retired psychologist and worked with children during my 30 years of counseling. This required being able to talk to and understand them well. I also worked as a 1st grade teacher for a year. Most of my experience with children has been raising my own 2 and weekend visits with 3 grandkids, from infancy to now. I was a girl scout leader for 10 years with girls 5, to 15 y. o. I took them camping and on 2 trips, Arkansas and Mexico. I am a former lifeguard and very responsible, healthy and energetic, and can get down on the floor to play with kids. I love to cook, especially healthy food. I also would like to accompany families on foreign or domestic travel. I have been to most states and 25 plus countries so am very comfortable on the road.
