Hello, I am a retired elementary teacher of 16 years and have an Early Childhood Endorsement from Western Michigan University. I taught three of those 16 years in Special Education (K-5). I have also nannied for/taught children on the Autism spectrum and children with mental illnesses. I offer maturity, punctuality, a loving and compassionate personality, honesty, and I strive to cultivate a love of learning in the children I nanny. I can help facilitate online learning and academic growth, as well. People describe me as incredibly nurturing, hard working, extremely patient, and an excellent communicator. I will love and treat your children like my own. You will not have to worry if I'm going to call in sick or be late. My husband and I live in St Clair, but please don't let that scare you off. I will commute. I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker, etc. I also have experience with food allergies and Epi-pen knowledge (although, thankfully, I have never had to use one).
