About Elaine

I am a mother of four ages 22 to 13. I have been a public school science teacher and I ran a private home school for several years. I have a Master's degree in Blind Rehabilitation and am comfortable working with all people including persons with a disability. I am dependable and trustworthy. I have many years experience as a babysitter not only for teachers while in high school but I also worked as a babysitter at the Southampton Princess Hotel in Bermuda. I have a very flexible schedule and a supportive family, so I am able to accommodate most any schedule with notice and even with little or no notice. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I enjoy reading and making learning fun, so if tutoring is desired during babysitting, I am open to that option.

Elaine has a wonderful way of interacting with children. She sings songs and reads stories that the kids enjoy and they love spending time with her. She is very knowledgeable about development and emotional growth from her background as a teacher and counselor.
