I am a very loving, caring, patient, and experienced retired (January 2021) special education teacher. I spent the majority of my career working with children with special needs between the ages of birth to 6 years (but I love typically developing kids, too!). I have a lot of experience with children with complex needs, including seizures, G-tubes, hearing aids, braces, walkers, etc. I know some basic sign language, and I am very experienced with using communication pictures. I have a Master's degree in special education. I would love to care for your infant or preschooler, along with providing a lot of learning and fun! I am fully vaccinated and trained in CPR and First Aid. I am a non-smoker. Since retiring, I have cared for 3 children (references available). I prefer to work part-time.
