About Elaine

Hello! I'm Elaine and I'm an easy-going 31-year-old visual artist, educator and child care worker. I have 9 years of paid experience in childcare which began when I taught at Spanish immersion preschool. Since then I have transitioned into nannying infants and toddlers part-time while teaching art programs My aim as a nanny is to create a play-based and peaceful environment. Taking into consideration the safety of each child's environment, modelling respectful behavior through gentle parenting techniques, helping provide the tools for developmental milestones, and adapting to the needs of the family. I hope to create lasting relationships and build trust over time. I have my first aid and CPR training up to date as well as clearances, references, and criminal records ready to provide.
