About Elaina

I like working with kids because of their endless energy and imagination. Getting to have a safe, healthy, fun childhood is something every child deserves, and I would love to help a family create that. I started working with kids when my little sister was born 12 years ago, and my little brother soon after that. I volunteered every other morning for a year to babysit for teachers in the morning when I was in highschool. I've been focusing on college for the past year, but I would love to get back into childcare. In my spare time, I like to listen to music, cook, bake, and go on walks. Occasionally I will paint or draw, but I will never be better than a 5-year-old. My skills include patience, listening and communicating, and creativity. Kids can come up with amazing stories and ideas. I love to turn that creativity into activities.
