Hi there, My name is Elisa, and I am currently a full-time PhD in Education student in the DC metro area. I am a former 6th grade English and ESOL teacher in Northern Virginia and also spent three years teaching overseas. Prior to teaching, I was a full-time nanny and cared for infants through teenagers while also providing household support in the manner of meal prep, grocery shopping, school pick-up/drop-off, laundry, cleaning, and running family errands. I am able to provide homework tutoring for school-aged children as well as supporting early literacy, numeracy, and motor-skill development for infants and toddlers. I am a hands-on nanny and support a healthy mix of engaging, structured learning activities and free, creative indoor/outdoor play. I have a flexible schedule for part-time support that includes both weekdays and evenings depending upon the care schedule. I would love to meet you and to learn about your childcare needs.
