About Eileen

Since I was in high school, I have taken care of children. I come from a big family of six kids, so whether it was my siblings or neighbors down the street, I have always felt like a caretaker. I also spent time as an overnight camp counselor in high school. My degree is in Visual Arts Education. I spent much of my college career in schools around Indiana University, facilitating learning and a creative experience for children in grades K-8. After college, I worked at a family shelter in Bloomington where I was the primary caregiver for 10 2-year-olds, this was a great joy to me. Shortly after that, I spent time as a nanny with two lovely children who loved to have fun ! Overall, I love facilitating safe and fun learning environments, making sure children feel empowered to be themselves. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, empathetic, and creative! In my spare time, I like to paint and make art, do yoga, skateboard, hike, and maybe most of all- cook!
