About Eileen

A bit about me: I am a preschool teacher at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Novato, and have been working there for 2 years now. I work daily with children ages 2-4. I have 18 Child and Family Studies units from Napa Valley College, and I am CPR and First Aid certified as part of yearly training at the preschool where I work. Prior to teaching, I also have several years of experience babysitting children ages 0-10, including babysitting for individual families, and providing childcare for large groups of children at events. I love working with children and am fascinated by the process of their development! Their little minds are absolutely intriguing. I love to play and experiment alongside them, and my approach to discipline and teaching is very much based in authoritative parenting style (aka gentle parenting) and play-based learning.
