About Eileen

I cared for my husband in his final illness and gained appreciation not only for older folks facing health challenges, but also those who care for them. I offer companionship, and the ability of loved ones to have time away from their responsibilities. Over the past year, I cared for a gentleman who was facing several health challenges before passing too soon. I took him to and/ or from medical appointments, helped prepare meals, and went for walks. Most importantly, I listened to him. I currently act as companion to a an older woman, taking her out to shop and to church, important things to her, offering independence. I would hope to offer similar assistance to families needing those services, to supplement the care of medical providers and therapists. I live in Fairfax, have my own car, am a non-smoker and am fully vaccinated. I have security clearance. I was Red Cross CPR and first aid certified and will renew those certifications.
