About Edwintha

I've been caring for children for over four years, and I'm drawn to the field because I love helping children learn and grow. That is why I am in college to be a nurse. I have some college coursework in early childhood development that has my ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I'm naturally patient and calm, which helps me stay composed in any situation. I'm also creative and imaginative, which allows me to come up with fun and engaging activities for the children I care for. I believe in open communication with parents and will provide regular updates on their child's day. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and expectations, and I do so in a firm but gentle manner. I believe that children thrive when they know what is expected of them. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, educational games, and any other games the kids love I will be interested to learn.
