About Edward

Hi, my name is Edward and I'm a 21 yr old college student in Waco! I study engineering, physics, and math at Baylor University. I've always had a passion for helping people, and have been able to do that through community service and programs like Scouts. Boy Scouts helped me develop a love for the outdoors, including hiking, swimming, and other outdoor activities. I earned my Eagle Scout and was inducted into the national honor society of the Boy Scouts. Sports are a huge interest for me as well, playing soccer primarily when I was younger and doing competitive surfing in high school (I did half of high school in Southern California before moving to Texas). I was able to work with people with disabilities on a ranch in high school, building custom design projects. From this and other experiences I learned that I have a genuine passion for working with people with disabilities.
