I hired Edina full time, 40 hours a week for housekeeping, cooking, and errands. On Friday of the first week, she left after two hours because she said she was sick. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but on Sunday she texted me that she wanted to cut her hours in half because she was "too tired on the weekend." I said okay, we can see how that works. I figured I could supplement her work with another person if I need to. On Friday of the second week, she asked if she could leave an hour early (even though she was only working 4 hours a day at that point). I said okay, and noticed later that she left the dirty dishes from preparing dinner in the sink. I figured it was an oversight. On Monday morning she texted that she'd see me at 2, as planned. At 3 pm when she hadn't shown up yet, I texted her to see if she was okay. She never responded that day, or since. Nice lady, but a total flake!
