My name is Edgar, I have been a caregiver (CNA) for 9 years at a hospital. I'm a very family oriented person and I love to spend time with my family. I'm currently in the Nursing program at EVCC and will be graduating next year. I love my job and that is why I decided to become a nurse. I've always enjoyed helping others, it can be helping someone with their ADL's or helping someone at supermarket trying to load a heavy box. Helping others puts happiness in my life. I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate and loving. I like caring for seniors because I understand that is not easy getting old and it's the time of our lives that we need all the help we can get. Sometimes seniors don't have the help they need and that's when I come in to try to make their day a little better and help them with their ADLs. It is rewarding to me. I started caring for seniors when I started working in the hospital in 2015. In my spare time, I like to play soccer and spend time with family.
