I am patient, kind, reliable, and a good observer who can figure out what needs to be done and how to do it. I am good with people and have experience and patience accompanying and caring for the elderly with dementia/Alzheimer's (most recently 24/7 caring for my 87 yr. old parents - dad in later stage of Alzheimer's and mother with vascular dementia - when they both came down with Covid over Christmas). I have a life-time of DYI experience - good at cleaning things (janitorial work during college), fixing things, painting, etc. I love and and relate to most all animals. I am an outdoor enthusiast, ultra trail runner and avid hiker. I grew up and have worked in Asia most of my life - most recently as a disaster response specialist - responding in Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Nepal, Fiji, etc. Recently moved to Portland and am looking for work - both short-term and full-time.
