About Dorothy
Hello, I am Dorothy . I have worked in the healthcare field with the elderly for 25+ years. The majority of the time I was a nationally certified Activity Director specializing in dementia. I graduated high school in Wuerzburg Germany , (military dad) and have completed some college; mainly studying the psychologies and gerontology. I've had my national certification for activity Director since 1994. It is now the time in my career to do what I really enjoy. I am looking forward to being a companion to an elderly person that needs to be stimulated mentally, socially and spiritually, keeping them busy and interested all day. My passions are cooking, spending time in the fresh air and making people happy. I lived in Germany for 15 years and am fluent in German. I have also conducted support groups for caregivers with loved ones who have Alzheimer's or one of the other dementia's. I look forward to hearing from you! With warm regards, Dorothy
