My experience in childcare essentially began with my mothers family daycare. Growing up my mother had a family daycare in our families home, and as I got older I began to work along side her during school vacations and after school. Once I was at an age where I could work alone with children I began taking care of some of my mothers clients on my own when their parents needed a babysitter at night or on the weekends. After graduating from high school and going to college I strayed away from childcare for a few years, but then found myself back in childcare again, working for a daycare facility. While working I became CPR, AED and First Aid certified for Adults, Children and Infants. Along with my experience with children on a business level, I am also a parent. Some of my favorite activities to do with children included arts and crafts and teaching the essentials of early childhood education.
