About Dorcas

I am a positive thinking person who loves taking care of children. I have nannied for over 13 years. Uptown alone, I have at least 5 families happy to be my reference and vouch for integrity. My priority is to make sure the babies in my care are loved, safe and nurtured according to the values of their respective families. I am an attentive listener and love to help children find humor in their activities. I also love turning activities to creative songs. My daughter has my number saved on her phone as 'Singer all the time.' She testifies that growing up, she found my songs soothing, funny and reassuring. My intent always is to make life easier for every family I work for, hence I am also available for last minute sitting requests after normal work hours, available for overnights and happy to help to keep the house tidy and organized. I look forward to my day with little ones and have never had a moment of regret. Kindness of heart, generousity of spirit and gentle hands is my mantra.
