I'd describe my personality as Compassionate Friendly Confident I like caring for seniors because they need people who can understand that they have a lot to offer, no matter what the age. Even though their bodies fail them sometimes, many still feel the same as when they were younger adults. I'm looking for a job that makes a difference each day. I also need schedule flexibility as I also care for grandchildren when their parents work. I have cared for one senior, when my mother became homebound. This strong, independent woman, who would suffer before asking for help, finally had to accept it. I saw how hard that was for her, and how important it was for her to maintain dignity. In my spare time, I like to take grand-babies on adventures. Hiking and biking are also favorites, and exploring new places and meeting new people. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable, responsible, and compassionate. My skills include empathy, patience, understanding.
