Donna has been such a blessing to our family. My mom passed a little over a year ago, and my 93 year old dad lives alone. None of us live nearby, and Dad really needed help with housekeeping, errands, and other tasks. For the last 9 months, Donna has visited Dad faithfully each week. She has bonded with him (no easy task!!), and she communicates extremely well with my brother and I regarding all aspects of Dad's care. She has helped clean some of the clutter of all Mom's things, she reviews his medications, brings him groceries, stays close by while he showers to make sure he's safe, and many other things! On Dad's birthday, Donna brought Dad a cake. Such a sweet, caring gesture! She made a video of him blowing out candles and sent it to us. On the anniversary of Mom's passing, Donna brought a beautiful butterfly to Dad's house, and released it with my Dad in Mom's honor. She sent a video of this as well. It was very moving. Donna isn't just a caregiver. Donna is part of our family!
