About Donna

Hello, I'm Donna! If you are looking for a tutor, I am a recently retired special education teacher with a master's degree and 36 years of experience with training in the highly effective Orton-Gillingham and Wilson programs, which use direct, multisensory techniques to teaching literacy skills. I also implement effective math interventions using manipulatives and real-world situations. I use assessment data/results to provide individualized instruction. Most importantly, I will provide a safe learning environment that motivates and encourages children to succeed emotionally as well as academically.
