I'm more of a paid companion and wish to enhance senior lives in little ways because I truly care and know how lonely it can be for a single elderly person trying to retain their independence. I offer driving services to appointments (doctor, hair, nails), shopping (from lists or with my senior friend). I enjoy reading aloud, playing cards and other table top games. I'm a good listener and will do light housework, fix simple meals, change bed sheets and help with a load of laundry. If you desire the warm, friendly companionship of someone who cares, I might be perfect for you! I realize there are many little details we'd need to discuss and I am somewhat flexible. We'll work together towards an agreement that will work for all of us. I would require emergency info (physician contact info) and contact info for at least two family members. I get very attached to my senior companions and would be horrified if not prepared to reach the best care possible for them in an emergency.
