About Donna

My name is Shai, I am 21 years old, very energetic and have spent 3 years caring for children of all ages. If you aren't counting the other 14 years of my life when I was caring for the children in my own family. I have 4 sisters, 2 nephews, 6 nieces and four younger cousins! In high school, I took Child Development courses that really helped me understand what a child needs to thrive in their environment. I worked at FINS in high school, teaching children from 1-year-old to 13 years old how to swim. I would play with the children to make them feel comfortable in the water if they were not so sure about getting in. I would have to soothe them if they were upset about having to get into the water or if they were scared. I also worked at Primrose in the infant room. There, I took care of 4 infants at a time, feeding, changing, putting them down for naps, soothing them and playing with them! I have reliable transportation, a valid drivers license and am CPR/First Aid certified!
