I was a classroom teacher in K-3rd grade for 32 years. I also have a K-12 certification in the teaching of reading. It is so exciting when my students become confident with skills that were previously challenging! My students would say that I am kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy. After the first 30 minutes, I will write a plan for the next skills your child needs and how these will be acquired. Family members that want to be part of the plan will be offered easy, quick activities that can be shared at home.

Donna was a fantastic tutor for my son. He came out of first grade way behind in reading, and he was only able to read for a few minutes at a time. After meeting with Donna a few times a week over the summer, he was ready for second grade. He's been way more engaged in school this year. Great job, Donna!!!
