I am compassionate, patient and trustworthy. Caring for seniors has always been dear to my heart. I was fortunate enough to have very close relationships with my own parents, grandparents, and great grandparents. I enjoy listening to others, in particular, hearing stories of their lived experiences. I have raised three children and am currently retired from the EGUSD school system where I worked for over 25 years. Prior to my work in the schools district, I ran a daycare for nearly 15 years. My range in caretaking has been demonstrated over the span of decades from early childhood through elderly care. After the loss of my husband due to cancer, I experienced caretaking in a whole different way and have learned so much about what it means to be at someone's side. With all my past experiences, I am confident that I can provide proper care to our senior community.

Donna is a very loving, kind and compassionate caregiver. She is so easy going, considerate and clearly enjoys what she does. Donna is a great cook and has been helping me make meals for our busy family. She will grocery shop and meal prep including making specific recipes requested of her. She is meticulous when it comes to cleaning up. She deep cleans as requested including the nooks and crannies of my stove. She makes an excellent companion. She will sit and listen intently and does well with seniors, in particular those who may not recall details. She highly respects the seniors she works with and is truly interested in hearing about their lives and interests. Donna has a newer/clean car and runs errands for me upon request. She is reliable and is a great communicator. I highly recommend her for any caregiving position!
