I was lucky enough to have Donna provide some interim respite care for my mother with dementia. Donna was upfront with me from the start stating that her regular client was in a rehabilitation facility and as soon as he was released, she would be going back to taking care of him. I respected that; it told me a lot about her character and commitment. Donna took care of my mother a total of five days. I would hire her back in a heart beat!
