About Dominique

I'm a professional with 8 years of experience in childcare, having worked as an early elementary teacher for 4 years, a school counselor for 1 year, and as a licensed mental health counselor since 2022. As the current Assistant Director of a DDS-certified agency working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, I also work as a provider of therapeutic tutoring. My passion for fostering children's growth and development, coupled with my desire to make a positive impact on their lives, has driven my career choices. As a patient, calm, creative, and imaginative caregiver, I communicate with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise using their preferred method. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing various games with children, such as board games, puzzles, educational games that promote learning, and technology-based games and apps.
