We hired Dolores for a recurring job in the mornings on weekdays to watch our two toddlers. Aside from this she helped with dishes, kept the kid's toys tidy and sorted their laundry. During this time, she showed up for work only a few days of the week each week. In the span of one month, there was always an excuse every week on why she couldn't make certain days. Her employment ended with her not showing up to work and not responding to any messages or phone call when we tried to check on her. As others said, she was always punctual and notified us if she was running late (on the days she actually came to work). We eventually contacted one of her references she had provided during her interview who was able to get in touch with her (in retrospect this was probably a friend of hers posing as an employer). Hiring her would be essentially just what it is, hiring an unprofessional teenager who is inconsiderate of other people's time. She has yet to tell us she quit. We had been giving her the benefit of the doubt with all the excuses she had, as life does happen to us all sometimes. We do not recommend her as a reliable babysitter. She may be a good fit for one time jobs. We wish someone had taken the time and told us this in her reviews.
